Ok... Back to the Hamsters
So I thought we had the whole hamster thing under control...
...WRONG!!!
The kids and I went away for 12 days and came back to just as many hamsters. This in itself is not that great considering there were only 4 when we left. However the bigger problem came with the fact that they chewed their way out of the cage and have managed to find spacious living throughout our home.
The first night we found most of them and got them back into their cages. With only a few strays left I was considering getting a barn cat for a few days to help me find the others. Not necessary. Those little critters are noisy and were easily found... in the kitchen, in the bedroom, in the bathroom, etc.
So there you have it. A lesson in exponential growth rate. Always wondered when calculus would come in handy??? Wait I don't even remember if that is calculus or not.
The next lesson my kids will be learning is economics. Cause its up to them to sell, give away, find homes for them within the next 2 weeks.
By Easter this house will be a hamster free zone. So if you're intersted in a hamster of any shape or size we have them all!!!
Till next time...
